Air-Spade Excavation

The Air-Spade is a tool that uses compressed air to excavate around root systems of trees without damaging the roots, buried cables or pipes. This allows us to relieve compacted soils, replace toxic soils, amend deficient soils, and expose root systems that are girdling trees. The air spade can also be used to reduce unhealthy mulch mounds around newly planted trees, assist in the transplanting of large trees, and reduce the impact of heavy machinery in construction sites.
