International Society of Arboriculture
The ISA is an educational, research and credentialing organization with world-wide membership. Its mandate is to
- Sponsor research into tree care
- Administer and enforce the procedure whereby someone becomes a "certified" arborist
- Provide education and instruction for both members and the general public
